Breaking out calculation per question

I am creating a company survey and would like to separate the calculation of the answers to each of the questions asked in the survey. Currently only the response to the first question is being calculated. I would also like to adjust the scoring scale if possible.

    Hi Michelle,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm happy to assist you with your question.

I understand you're attempting to have the calculation widget tabulate each question separately but as it is now, it is only tabulating the first question. You're also looking to change how the calculation is being scaled.

Let's start with your first question regarding the calculation widget only capturing the first question. I was able to clone your form and test it myself. From what I'm seeing on the form's submissions, Jotform Tables is showing a single row with multiple columns like so:

To ensure I am on the same page with what you're trying to accomplish here, could you clarify how exactly you would want Jotform Tables to capture and display each submission? From what I gather, you're intending to have a separate calculation for each separate multiple choice question. Am I correct?

If that is the case, you would need to create a separate Form Calculation Widget for each multiple choice question.

This is what I would recommend to test on your end should this be what you are trying to do:

Create a calculation for every question

    • Go to Build → Add Form Element → Widgets → Form Calculation.
    • Drag in a Form Calculation widget for each question you want to score.
    • Inside each widget, click the Add Field button and select that question, then enter the calculation or point value you want.

    ---

Now for your 2nd question regarding the scaling of the calculation widget: How exactly would you want to change the calculation in this case? Currently, it looks like each question is calculated on a 1-5 scale for each option.
