When i open a link that i created from the attached form (originally used a cloned form), the tab at the top is showing as Boys JP Winter. How do i change the tab to read as New Girls Gr 0-2?

    Hi Nadia,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.

Let me help you with that:

To change the text that appears on the browser tab (the page title) for your form, you need to edit the Page Title in the Form Builder. This will customize the form's title as it appears in the browser tab.

    Here’s how to do it:

    1. Open your form in Form Builder.
    2. Go to the Settings tab.
    3. Click on the Form Settings section.
    4. Find the Page Title field and change it to "New Girls Gr 0-2" or your desired title.
    5. Save your changes.

After updating the Page Title, the browser tab will display the new title when you open the form link.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Nadia,

If the browser tab is still showing the old title "Boys JP Winter" despite the Page Title being correctly set to "New Girls Gr 0-2" in the Form Builder, this could be due to browser caching. Browsers sometimes keep the old tab title cached and do not immediately update it after changes.

Here’s what you can do to resolve this:

    1. Clear your browser cache or try opening the form link in a private/incognito window to see if the updated title appears.
    2. Try a different browser to check if the issue persists across browsers.
    3. Ensure you have saved the form changes properly in the Form Builder and that you are using the correct and updated form link.

If after these steps the tab title still does not update, it might be a caching issue on the server or CDN side, which usually resolves itself after some time.

Give these steps a try and see if the tab title updates accordingly.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Hi Nadia,

As what Podo mentioned, you will need to update the Page Title not the Title, and when I checked the form it still shows as Boys JP - Winter Uniform Order Form. Let me show you how to update it.

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Settings Tab at the top.

    2. Under Form Settings, click on Show More options button.

    3. Scroll down to Page Title option, then add the page title that you want to use.
