URGENT - I need access to the submitted forms. Your AI told me that I would see them even after the form itself was deleted!

    Hi Ariana,

I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.

When a form is deleted, the submitted form data is also removed and cannot be accessed through Jotform. Unfortunately, submissions are not retained separately after the form itself has been deleted.

If you have accidentally deleted the form, you might want to check the Trash folder in your Jotform account to see if the form can be restored. Restoring the form will also restore access to its submissions.

Let me know if you need guidance on how to restore a deleted form from the Trash.

Reach out again if you need any other help.

    Hi Ariana,

When a form is deleted in Jotform, its submission data is also deleted. Submissions are tied directly to the form, so once the form is permanently deleted, the submissions cannot be recovered. As a next step, check the Trash folder in your Jotform account and restore deleted forms:

    1. On your My Workspace page, hover your mouse over the left panel and scroll to the bottom.
    2. Click on the Trash Icon and select the deleted form.
    3. Click on the Restore button at the top, and it should restore both the form and its submissions.
    4. URGENT I need access to the submitted forms Screenshot 20

Keep in mind that if the form has already been purged from the Trash folder, the data is permanently removed and can no longer be retrieved.

Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi Ariana,

Can you clarify the request you're referring to? My colleague, Kenneth, already suggested checking your Trash folder and restoring the deleted form to be able to restore the deleted submissions.

When we hear back from you, we’ll be ready to move forward.

Using your AI to resolve the account block issue I was advised that by deleting the form Id still have access to the submissions. When I went in to recover them they are now gone! I need those files.

I also want to understand why it was blocked in the first place. If it was the credit card number issue I have removed that from the new form Ive created. Please check it over and let me know if I have any other violations becasue this cannot happen again.

Please let me know what I can do urgently.

    Thanks.

    Hi Ariana,

Again, you won't be able to restore submissions from a deleted form unless you're able to restore it from the Trash folder. Note that collecting credit card information in plain text fields is against our Terms of Use.

In line with our PCI certification, we have to deny the collection of credit card details on regular forms. But, we have other PCI-compliant ways you can do this. All you need to do is choose one of the payment processors available on our platform and integrate it into your form. You still won't be able to collect credit card details directly, though. If you only want to collect your customers' payment details and charge them at a later date, you can take advantage of our Payment Authorization feature.

I checked your form, and everything seems okay since you're not collecting any login credentials or credit card payment information.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Then you should check your AI. I would never have deleted the form if I knew this!

    Hi Ariana,

Based on our AI Podo responses, there was no suggestion to delete the form. Only to restore it if it was accidentally deleted from your account. But if you had a chat with one of our AI Podo agents and were advised to remove or delete a form containing offending fields (like credit card collection), then it should be removed right away, as that’s a violation of our Terms of Use.

If the form has already been deleted and purged from the Trash folder, there’s no way to recover it anymore. You’ll need to start from scratch and make sure not to include any offending fields in the new form.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
