Autoresponder Email: How to customzie the Email body?

    The email automation is NOT working as it should. I have tried everything to fix it and it seems a coding issue on JOTFORMS side.

    It showing up correct inside of Jotform but when it is actually sent to the person who fills out the form it is not the same. I have tried to change the source code and it doesnt work, tried new browser, doesnt work.

    but when a person fills out the form, this is what is sent to them. Very frustrating. I have been working on this for hours.

This issue can sometimes be caused by differences in how email clients render HTML or by settings within the autoresponder email setup.

    Here’s how to check and adjust your autoresponder email settings to help resolve this:

    1. Go to your form’s Settings tab in Form Builder.
    2. Click on Emails on the left side to see your autoresponder emails.
    3. Edit the autoresponder email and review the Email Content section. Make sure the content is formatted correctly and does not include unsupported HTML or scripts.
    4. Check the Recipients tab to confirm the email address is set correctly (which you confirmed as donna@rincklawoffice.com).
    5. Review the Advanced tab for any special settings like PDF attachments or custom sender email that might affect how the email is sent or displayed.

    If you have customized the source code of the email, try reverting to the default template to see if that resolves the issue. Sometimes custom code can cause rendering problems in some email clients.

    Also, keep in mind that different email clients (like Gmail, Outlook, etc.) may display the same email differently due to their rendering engines.

    Yes I have done that several times and it keeps overriding it. It saves it, I can go out and come back in and it shows the correct one but other times even after it is saved when I come back it shows the incorrect one that you sent the screen shot of.

    Hi Donna,

    I've cloned and tested the form, but was unable to replicate the issue. Since you're trying to edit the source code, can you send us the script you're using so we can test it on our end? The script may be unsupported, that's why it's reverting to its default. Also, the issue could be isolated to your form since we cannot replicate it. Can you also try to clone your form and test the cloned form and see if the issue persists? I've gone ahead and cleared your form caches to refresh the form.

    Tried cloning the form, still giving me issues. same thing happening. Not even if I just manually input the email - since you are not having issues with it, can you make an autoresponding email for me? this is what I want? The issue is I can save this but when I go back into it (even after saving it) it reverts back to the default. or it puts the default after my text. If it doesn't do either of those, the other issue is when I do a test submission, it sends the default only (not the correct one below)

    Yeah still not working, I am just going to have to use a different platform altogether. Something is wrong on Jotforms backend of the email automation tab.     Nope, still not working. Just submitted a test submission and this is what it showed up as in my email as a test respondent....
