Hi Mike! To have the save later link sent to the person filling out the form instead of yourself, you can customize your email alerts or autoresponders to include the edit link. This way, the user receives a link to continue their submission later. If you want, you can check out the guide below for a detailed walkthrough on how to set this up smoothly. Let me know if you need any more help with it!

    Hi Mike,

When the Save and Continue Later feature is enabled, users will be able to continue filling up the form where they left off with this. When users click Save, they can either log in to Jotform to retrieve their saved submission or receive a link via email. When they return to the form using the saved link, their previous entries will be pre-filled, allowing them to continue filling out the form.

You won't be able to receive the submission unless the user clicks on the Submit button. Users will need to manually click on the Save button to save their progress and return later. They are not required to sign up for a Jotform account to use Save and Continue, but signing up simplifies managing saved drafts as the save link is automatically sent to the account's email address. You can also check out this guide on How to Enable Save and Continue Later on Forms.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Mike,

Can you share more details of the use case? Is this a submission that'll be filled out by multiple users? For example, after user A fills out some form elements, user B should also fill out their section before finally submitting the form. If yes, this is possible. But let us know if this is what you'd like the form to work to make sure we're on the same page before we continue.

Going back to the Save and Continue Later feature. If the user is logged into a Jotform account and saved their form progress, they'll be prompted to continue the form or fill out a new one once they visit the form again. Another option is to get a draft link of the saved progress or send a Save and Continue Later email that has a Continue Form button.

When we hear back from you, we’ll be ready to move forward.
