I'd like to download the attached file(s) to a response using Power Automate. Using HTTP Get action in Power Automate, I get errors, regardless of which authentication type chosen. Do you have a KB article/video on how to accomplish this?

Hi Clint,
Thanks for reaching out to us for help. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
Regarding your question about downloading attached files from Jotform responses using Power Automate, the issue with HTTP Get action and authentication errors is common. One important setting to check is the requirement to log in to view uploaded files. If this setting is enabled, it may cause authentication issues when trying to access attachments via Power Automate.
Here’s how to disable the login requirement to view uploaded files:
- Log in to your Jotform account on the desktop version.
- Hover over your Avatar/Profile picture on the right side of the screen.
- Click on Settings in the dropdown menu.
- Go to the Security tab and under Privacy, uncheck the box next to "Require Login to View Uploaded Files."
This will allow the approver or Power Automate to access and download the attachments without needing to log in, which should help resolve the authentication errors you are encountering.

Hi Clint,
Can you share more details about the error you are getting? If you can take a screenshot of what’s happening, that'll help us to understand better what’s going on. Let me show you how to post a screenshot to our Help Center:
1. On the Help Center page, scroll down to the Your Answer section and click on the Image icon.
2. Drag and drop your image into the Upload box, or click on it and select your file.
3. Then, click on the Add button in the bottom-right corner of the window.
4. To resize it, click on your screenshot and then click on one of the boxes in the corners, and drag it inward.
5. Once you're finished, click on the Post Answer button at the bottom right of the Your Answer section.
