This is different than "tax" because some items are taxed, some are not. Every total needs to include a 3.5% service charge to customers. Thanks!

I reviewed the link below, but it seemed to be replacing tax field with service charge field. That won't work for us.

    Hi Ryan,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I reviewed your form, and I understand what you're looking for. After looking into it a bit more, there are two workarounds I came up with.

    The simpler workaround:

Change the item price to include already the service charge. Then, in the description, you can indicate the breakdown of the price if you want the customer/user to know why the price. Example, Total Price = Price + Service Charge. See the screenshot below for reference:

And then enable the Tax option to apply the Total Service Charge of 3.5% to all the items.

    For the complex workaround:

This will require disregarding the Product List element and use Basic elements instead to create the Product Lists. You can use Multiple Choice, Dropdown list, and Short Text elements to create the Product List. The objective is to break down each product item separately so that a service charge can be calculated to each item separately. And then at the end, use another calculation for the Total Service Charge.

Payment will be done by passing the calculated Total Amount to the payment field using the User Define method. See the screencast below for reference:

That's it. Let us know if you have any other questions.
