I have several people who will have access to our JotForm account. I don't want these people to be able to edit certain forms. Is there a way to password-protect certain forms so they can not be edited? I know you can password-protect forms to prevent people from filling them out or submitting them, but I don't want them to be able to edit forms on the account.

    Hi HavaneseRescueInc,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.

Regarding your question about password-protecting forms to prevent editing by certain people, currently, Jotform does not offer a feature to password-protect forms specifically to restrict editing access within an account. Password protection is available to limit who can fill out or submit a form, but it does not control who can edit the form itself in your Jotform account.

If you have multiple people accessing your Jotform account and want to restrict editing rights, you might consider managing user permissions by using Jotform's Team or Enterprise plans, which allow you to control roles and permissions for collaborators. This way, you can limit who has editing access to specific forms.

Let us know if you want more information about setting up user roles or managing permissions in your account.

Reach out again if you need any other help.

    Hi HavaneseRescueInc,

Keep in mind that our standard plans (Starter, Bronze, Silver, Gold) allow only one login credential per account, so sharing login credentials is not allowed as per our Terms of Use. If you require multiple users to access the same account with restricted editing permissions, upgrading to an Enterprise plan is the best option. Enterprise accounts allow your entire team to collaborate while providing you with complete control and visibility over each member’s actions, ensuring compliance with IT audit requirements.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.
