User cannot submit the form

    I created a form, but some people are telling me they can’t complete it. When they try, the system says “only one entry is allowed,” even though they haven’t submitted anything before.

    Hi Joshua,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked your form, and it seems that you have set the Unique Submission option to Check cookies and IP address. This option prevents multiple submissions from the same user by verifying both the browser's cookies and the submission's IP address. This is a strict method to ensure only one submission per browser and IP, making it ideal for spam prevention but problematic for users within the same network, like a school or office, as they share an IP address. Check out the image below:

    User cannot submit the form Image 1 Screenshot 30To resolve this issue, you can ask users to try filling out the form in an incognito or private browsing window. This can help bypass any cached data or cookies that might be causing the form to think they have already submitted, or you can change the Unique Submission option to No Check. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.
    2. Then, click on Show More Options and scroll down to Unique Submission option and change it to No Check.
