Hi Jon,
Thanks for reaching out to us for help. The Starter plan is a free plan that gives you access to most of the features available in paid subscriptions. The key difference is in the limits set for usage. If the limits of the Starter plan meet your needs, you can use this plan indefinitely without any cost. Take a look at the general usage limits for Jotform Starter Plan:
100 submissions per month (total across all forms in your account)
10 payment submissions per month (if you’re collecting payments)
1,000 form views per month
5 active forms
100 MB of upload space
500 total submission storage (older submissions are automatically deleted once you go over this limit)
For more details about the features for each plan, and their corresponding limits and price, you can check out our Jotform's Pricing page. If you like to upgrade your account, it is easy to do. Let me show you how:
1. Log in to your Jotform account, go to the Pricing page, and click on Upgrade under the subscription plan you want.
2. In the Choose Your Payment Schedule section, select Yearly or Monthly.
3. Then, enter your billing details in the Billing details section.
4. In the Choose your Payment Method section, select Credit/Debit Card or PayPal.
5. If you choose Credit/Debit Card, you can enter your Credit/Debit Card information below the Credit/Debit Card option.
6. Next, in the top-right corner of the page, in the Summary section, tick the box next to I’ve read and agree to the Terms of Service, and click on Pay.
But, if you select PayPal as the payment, a PayPal Payment window will open, where you can log in and complete your payment after clicking on the Pay with PayPal button. Check out this screenshot below:
After the subscription is successfully paid, the features and limits for the chosen subscription plan will be applied to your account right away.
Reach out again if you have any other questions.

Basically, I am a public speaker/educator, principally to adult audiences. I would like a platform/widget/tool to have an audience participant take a short post-presentation survey that would be a measure of the topic, content, effectiveness, and comments to assist me in self-evaluation.

Hi Jon,
With the Starter plan, you can easily build a short survey form, share it with your audience via a link or QR code at the end of your presentation, and then collect their responses in real time. Here’s how it would work for you:
You can create up to 5 active forms, so you might set up one feedback form that you reuse for different talks.
The free plan allows up to 100 submissions per month, which usually works well for small- to medium sized audiences.
You’ll be able to include multiple question types, such as ratings, multiple choice, or open text for feedback on content, effectiveness, and comments.
If your audience size stays within those limits, the Starter plan should cover your needs without cost. If you ever grow to larger audiences or want advanced features like branding or higher limits, you can always upgrade later.
Let us know if you need any more help.

Hi Jon,
You can easily check your account's monthly reset date in Jotform. Let me show you how:
1. On your My Forms page, click on your Avatar/Profile Image on the top-right side of the page, and then click on Settings.
2. Go to Usage in the menu on the left, and beside the Monthly Usage section, you’ll see your limit reset date.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
