    Hi Estelle,

I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.

You can send your form to recipients without requiring them to create an account. Let me show you how:

    Using Jotform Mobile App:

    1. Open your Jotform App and tap on the form you want to share.
    2. Tap on Publish in the menu.
    3. Select the email app you want to use to send the form link.
    4. Customize your email and send it.

This way, recipients can fill out the form via the link without needing to create any account.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Estelle,

You can manually send the form URL to the users so they won't be ask to create an account when opening your form. Let me show you where to find the form URL:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Publish on the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
    2. From the Quick Share section, click on the Copy Link button and manually send it to users.Tables: My filter no longer add new entries Image 1 Screenshot 20 Screenshot 10

    Hi Estelle,

Yes, you can easily do that on your desktop. Just make sure to log into your Jotform account, and you can go ahead and follow the steps provided by my colleague on how to get the form URL so you can send it to your users.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Yes sorry - I moved on from this one as I hadn't seen Lorevie's response only the Bot.

I have a few problems with it, even wen I sent the URL link, it is still asking the recipient to Sign Up, is this because it is encrypted?

Also - when they do sign up they require a password to access the form?

    Hi Estelle,

Is this the form you're working on? If so, the form is set to Private and this will require a Jotform account for them to view it. You need to change it to Public so once you share the form URL with others, they can easily view the form without logging in. You can Set Your Form’s Access Settings to Public on your end. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar, click on Publish.
    2. Then, click on Private Form and select Public.

    Hi Estelle,

The encryption on your form should not affect user accessibility by requiring them to sign up. I checked your form, and it is still set to Private. This setting is what requires users to create a Jotform account and log in to access the form. To allow users to access the form without signing up, you need to change the form's access setting from Private to Public, as explained earlier, and share the Form URL with them. This change will enable anyone with the link to fill out the form without needing to create an account.

Let us know if you need any other help.

I tried it with the other form, they are both the same thing just different clients - I have now set both to public and they both don't work.

    Hi Estelle,

There are a couple of possible reasons why your recipients are still being asked to create a Jotform account eventhough your form is already set to Public:

    1. Invitation or Direct Link. If you send the form using the Invite by Email option in the Publish tab, Jotform treats this as a collaboration request. This requires the recipient to log in or sign up. To avoid this, you’ll need to copy the direct form URL (from the Quick Share section) and send it manually through your own email client or messaging tool. This way, users can access the form without creating an account.
    2. Encrypted Forms. Form encryption itself does not require users to sign up, but it does limit what features are available (for example, email notifications only show encrypted data). Recipients filling out the form don’t need an account because of encryption. The sign-up prompt comes from the sharing method, not encryption.

By sending the form URL directly to your recipients via your own email or chat application, instead of using the Jotform Invite option. This should ensure that recipients can access and submit the form without being asked to sign up. If it still forces a sign-up even with the direct link, share the exact form URL with us so we can test it on our end.

Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.

Ok I think we got rid of the Sign up bit, but it is still password protected - do I need to send them a password?

    Hi Estelle,

Yes, it appears that you have set up a Password Protection for your form. In this case, you will need to provide the password to your recipients so they can access and fill out the form. If you want to remove the password protection to allow access without a password, you can do so by editing the form's settings. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.

    2. Then, click on Show More Options

    3. Next, scroll down to Password Protection and uncheck Enable Password Protection.

Now, anyone who wants to access your form will need to enter the password:
