I'm trying to link my Microsoft Teams account to my Jotform account so i can allow automations to take place but it's giving me an error.
"You must have an Office 365 license to use the integration. Please check your licenses for your account."
i currently have an Office 365 account so i'm not sure why it's not allowing me to link them. -

Hi Victory,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
The error message you are seeing, "You must have an Office 365 license to use the integration. Please check your licenses for your account," typically occurs because the Microsoft Teams integration with Jotform requires a work or school Office 365 account. Personal Microsoft accounts are not supported for this integration.
Here’s how to ensure the integration works:
- Verify your Microsoft account type: Make sure your Office 365 account is a work or school account, not a personal Microsoft account.
- Authenticate properly: When setting up the integration in Jotform, click the Authenticate button and give Jotform permission to access your Microsoft account.
- Follow the integration steps: In your form builder, go to the Settings tab, then Integrations, select Microsoft Teams, choose your desired action, and complete the setup.
If your account is indeed a work or school account and you still face this issue, it might be worth checking with your Microsoft administrator to confirm that your license and permissions are correctly assigned.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi victoryoutreachstockton,
Keep in mind, the Microsoft Teams integration requires a work or a school account. Personal Microsoft accounts aren’t supported. Can you confirm that you're using a work or school account? If so, verify with your Microsoft administrator that your Office 365 license is active and properly assigned to your account.
Once we hear back from you, we can help you sort this out.
