I am working with a configurable list widget, and for my checklist field type, I want to be able to add an option that includes commas.

Hi Rebecca,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
Regarding your question about adding commas to options within the Configurable List widget, unfortunately, commas are used as delimiters between options in this widget, so including commas directly within options can cause issues.
As a workaround, you might consider using a different character or symbol in place of commas within your options, or you could try enclosing the entire option in quotation marks to see if that helps preserve the commas.
Let us know if you have any other questions or need further assistance.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi Rebecca,
Unfortunately, the widget uses commas as separators between the options, so adding an option with commas isn’t supported. As a workaround, you can replace the commas with another character (such as a semicolon, dash, or pipe symbol) to keep the option readable. I know this might not be the exact formatting you’d prefer, but this way you’ll still be able to include multi-part options without breaking the widget.
While that feature isn’t available in Jotform right now, I’ve sent your request to our Developers for review. When or if it gets developed will depend on their current workload, how possible it is, and how much demand there is from other users. If/when we have any updates, we’ll follow up here and keep you posted.
