Unable to Change Account Email

    Hi there!

    I need to change the main email (onboarding@rconly.international) to a new one (Steve@thewealthboom.com) but I’m not able to do it.
    I’m logging in via Gmail and I’m not able to login simply via username and password, so I’m not able to change the email.

    Can you please help me?

    I’m not having problems accessing my account. I try to disconnect the login from the Gmail account, I create a password to access and then, when I try to log in with just username and password, I write the email and I get a message like ‘an account with this email already existed’ and, if I want to login, I need to go via gmail. So I’m stuck

    Hi Chiara,

    To fix the log-in issue, can you try resetting your Jotform password? Resetting your Jotform account password is easy to do. Let me walk you through it:

    1. Go to the Jotform Main page and click on Login at the top-right corner of the page.

    2. In the window that opens, click on Forgot Password?.

    3. Enter your email address, and then click on Send Reset Instructions.

    4. You'll receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password. Open the email and click on the Reset Password button.

    5. Enter your new password, enter it again to verify it, and then click on Create a New Password.

    I was able to login with a new password, but now, when I try to save the new email, it says it’s already connected to a Jotform account (and it isn’t).

    I sent the invitation a couple of hours ago but I wasn’t able to accept the invitation because it was already expired.

    what should I do?

    Hi Chiara,

    The email Steve@thewealthboom.com is already used on another Jotform account, which is why you cannot use it as a replacement email. What you need to do first is log in to Steve@thewealthboom.com and change that account’s email to a dummy email so that Steve@thewealthboom.com will be freed up, allowing you to use it on your main account for the change email request.

    Hi Chiara,

    After checking, I saw that steve@thewealthboom.com is still linked to a Starter account. Can you tell us if the expired email change request happening on the Starter account, or on your paid account? If it's happening on the Starter account, I suggest logging into that account first, and then create a Help Center thread from the Contact Us page.

    When creating a thread, you can mention that you want to change the account email from steve@thewealthboom.com to a different one. Make sure that the new email address is not tied to any Jotform account. Then, you also need to include the screenshot that you shared here, so that the agent who'll be assigned to your thread will proceed doing the change for you.

    Once done, as steve@thewealthboom.com will be available, you should already be able to change the account email of this paid account. But, if the expired email change request is happening on the paid account, we can go ahead and change the email address for you. But we can't replace it with steve@thewealthboom.com, unless you change the email address of the Starter account first.

    Alternatively, if you have another email address that you want to use on this paid account, you can share it with us here, so we can move forward with the change.

    Once you get back to us, we can take the next step toward solving this.

    Hi Chiara,

    Unfortunately, the email address you want to use is already linked to a Jotform account. Can you give us another email that isn’t connected to Jotform

    Thank you for your help! Now we can log in with the new email I gave you, but the dashboard is completely empty. I can’t see any projects.

    To view all of your forms and other assets, you need to click on All in the upper-left corner of the page, like you see in the screenshot below:

    Also, on the Type dropdown, make sure to tick the Clear All option. Take a look at the screenshot below:
