Hello Jotform Support,
Due to the constant number of users filling out our form, I would like to know if there is a way to automatically prefill the form with data that the user previously submitted in the registration page (first form page).
The goal is to provide a smoother experience for participants so they don’t need to repeat the registration information every time they access the form. Ideally, their company details (e.g., company name, email, contact person) should auto-populate in subsequent pages/sessions of the learning route.
Could you please confirm if there is a feature or method (such as session saving, prefill, or integration with Jotform Tables) that would allow us to achieve this functionality?
Thank you for your support.
Best regards,
Julio Elsner

Hi Dcobys,
I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
Prefilling your form with previously submitted registration data to provide a smoother experience for returning users is possible with Jotform. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, click on Publish in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
- Click on Prefill in the menu on the left side, then select Form Prefill.
- Click the Downward Arrow icon and select the form you want to prefill from, then match the fields such as company name, email, and contact person.
- Click Save Settings at the bottom-right of the Form Prefill section.
After setting up, add a new prefill by clicking Add a New Prefill and selecting the rows you want to prefill, then click Create.
This will generate a prefill link that you can share with users. When they open the link, the matched fields will be filled automatically.
If you want the prefilled fields to be read-only, you can change this in the Form Prefill settings by selecting Can Edit next to the prefill link and choosing Read only.
Give it a try and let us know if you need any other help.

Hi Dcobys,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can automatically pass form data to another form right after the first form is submitted. We just need to find the unique names of the elements and include them in the landing page URL, or you can use the Prepopulate App to generate the URL of the form. Let me show you how to set it up:
- Go to Prepopulate App and click on Populate Fields. Click on Allow and choose your Form B.
- Scroll down to the field and paste the unique name from Form A. After filling it out, scroll up and click Generate URL.
- After generating, you can now copy that URL and use.
- In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
- Click on Thank you in the menu on the left side of the page.
- Select Redirect to an external link after submission.
- Finally, enter your landing page’s URL in the Enter URL field.
That way, it will automatically prefill Form B from Form A.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
