Hi info_NVinfo,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. If you received a notification that your account email was changed without your authorization, it is important to act quickly as this could indicate that your account might have been compromised.
I checked your account's email logs, and I see that a verification code was sent to make changes on the account email before updating it. Check if you or anyone with access to your account made this change. Sometimes, account changes can be made through linked services.
If you did not authorize the change, immediately change your password to a strong, unique one. Resetting your Jotform account password is easy to do. Let me walk you through it:
1. Go to the Jotform Main page and click on Login at the top-right corner of the page.
2. In the window that opens, click on Forgot Password?.
3. Enter your email address, and then click on Send Reset Instructions.
4. You'll receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password. Open the email and click on the Reset Password button.
5. Enter your new password, enter it again to verify it, and then click on Create a New Password.
You can also check out our How to Reset Your Jotform Password guide for more information. Also, Enable the Two-Factor Authentication to make your account more secure. You'll need to have third-party authenticator apps such as Google Authenticator, Duo, or Authy installed on your phone first. After that, here's how to turn the Two-Factor Authentication on:
1. On your My Workspace page, click on your Profile Image/Avatar in the upper right.
2. In the menu that shows, click on Settings.
3. Go to the Security tab on the left side of the screen.
4. Toggle Two-Factor Authentication to the On position.
5. In the menu that pops-up, enter your Jotform password, and then click on Verify.
6. Scan the QR code using your authenticator app or enter the code in it.
7. In the Enter the Generated Code field, type the 6-digit code generated by your authenticator app.
8. Then, click on Enable 2FA in the lower right of the pop-up menu.
9. Copy the Recovery Codes, or click on Download in the lower right of the pop-up box.
10. Finally, click on the X icon in the upper right of the pop-up box to close it.
If you lose access to your authenticator app, you can use your recovery codes to log in to your account — just make sure to keep them safe.
Taking these steps will help ensure your account remains secure and prevent any unauthorized access. I've also gone ahead and reached out to our relevant team to check on your account. We’ll get back to you as soon as we get an update from them.
