i updated a waiver for a new event and the social media thumbnail did not change with it. i removed the logo and replaced it with a new one and it did not help.

I tested your form on Facebook, and I easily replicated the issue. Take a look at the screenshot below to see my results:
However, the new logo does display correctly on other platforms, like Facebook Messenger and Slack.In Facebook Messenger:
