Deselect an answer on Single Choice element

I am trying to create a form but I'm running into a problem. When a user selects an answer, they can't deselect it. Look at "Test Question" https://form.jotform.com/252476617407159

I'd like for it to yield a blank answer if the user doesn't choose an option.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked your form and noticed you used the Single Choice element for the said question. It is expected that users can't unselect an answer on the Single Choice element. Instead, I recommend using the Multiple Choice element and restricting it to allow one answer only. Doing this is easy, let's walk through this together using a cloned form:

1. While in Form Builder, click on Add Element on the left side of the page.
2. In the Form Elements menu, under the Basic tab, scroll down the list and choose the Multiple Choice element.
3. Now, just drag and drop it to your form.
   
4. Label the Multiple Choice element, and click on the Gear icon on the right side.
5. In Multiple Choice Properties, go to the Options tab and add the answers in the Options section.
6. After, go to the Surveying tab and toggle to ON the Entry Limits.
7. Finally, set the Maximum to 1.

The Multiple Choice element allows multiple options to be selected. But since we set the Entry Limits Maximum to 1, the user can only select one answer. This is the link to my cloned form, if you'd like to take a closer look at it.
