Hi, I have assigned Calculation Values to multiple elements in my form. I now want to add a column to my connected Table that adds all of the values from these elements for a total Score.

How do I do this please?

    Hi Redlands,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Let me help you with that:

To add a column in your connected Table that sums the Calculation Values from your form elements, follow these steps:

    1. Add a new column in Jotform Tables.
    2. Select Advanced Formula as the column type.
    3. Create a formula that adds the relevant columns using the addition operator, for example, {Column 1}+{Column 2}+{Column 3}.
    4. Save the column to see the total score for each row.

This will display the total score by summing the assigned Calculation Values from your form elements in the new column.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi redlandscoastcollectivemarkets,

You can use a Form Calculation widget to total the values from the different fields of your form:

    1. In Form Builder and click on Add Element on the upper-left side of the page.

    2. Click on the Widgets tab, click on the Form Calculation widget to add it to your form.

    3. Then, set the formula like you see below and click on Save.

You can also set this field to hidden so it will not be visible from your live form, but the values will be displayed in your Jotform Tables.

Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi redlandscoastcollectivemarkets,

Could you confirm if you are referring to the .00 decimal showing in the result of your Form Calculation widget? After checking your form fields, we couldn't find a Form Calculation widget present in your form. To assist you better, could you send us a screenshot of what exactly is happening with the decimal display? This will help us provide more accurate guidance. Here's how to post a screenshot:

    1. On the Support Forum page, scroll down to the Your Answer section and click on the Image icon.

    2. Drag and drop your image into the Upload box, or click on it and select your file.

    3. Then, click on the Add button in the bottom-right corner of the window.

    4. To resize it, click on your screenshot and then click on one of the boxes in the corners, and drag it inward.

    5. Once you're finished, click on the Post Answer button at the bottom right of the Your Answer section.

I Have done it the other way (your AI Bot suggested) however the total are in decimal points (4.00). How can I change that to remove the decimal points (4)?

I have not used a form calculation widget. As mentioned I have done what your AI suggested and added and Advanced Formula Column to my Table ( as this is where I want to view the data). See image below

    Hi redlandscoastcollectivemarkets,

Here’s the quick way to create columns without decimals:

    1. On your Jotform Submissions Table, click on the Add button next to your last column.
    2. In the window that opens, select the Column Type you want, and click on Next. (I use Formula-Advanced Formula in this example.)
    3. Enter your Column Name, and click on Next.
    4.  Choose INT function to do calculations in it. That's it, you're done.
