I need to include a link on my form for the user to download a PDF of an instruction sheet. Will JotForm host files like this (less than 3Mb) or should I just put the file on my website and use that URL?

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Yes, you can upload and host files such as PDFs directly on your form, especially if the file size is less than 3MB. This means you can upload your PDF file to your form and provide a download link without needing to host the file on your own website.

If you prefer, you can host the file on your own website and then include the URL link on your form for users to download. Both methods are valid, but using Jotform's hosting can simplify the process since the file is managed within your form environment.

Let us know if anything else comes up.

Thanks. However, I can't seem to find a place to upload the file.

I'd like to have a paragraph that starts, "CLICK HERE to download instructions..." where "CLICK HERE" is hyperlinked to a file so the user can open, download, save or print the document.

How do I upload the file so that my users can click here for it?

    Hi Mike,

You will need to host your PDF File somewhere else, then just add the link to your paragraph field. Just like what you've done with your Word Document, you can upload your PDF to Google Drive, then copy the link from there. Here is an example:

Your users will also be given the option to download the PDF File.

Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.
