We developed a new widget following the widget documentation. But we cant find the link mentioned here: "Step 2: Register Widget

Go to Add Widgets page to begin registering your field.

    •  Name
    • Name of your widget. It is used while we are showing the widget to Jotform users. Write down "My Simple Widget" for this tutorial.

    •  Widget Type
    • Select iFrame Widget option.

    •  Widget IFrame URL
    • Enter URL of simple.html in your website.

    •  Widget width and height
    • Determine your widget size

    •  Additional parameters
    • Parameters defined here will be appended to your iframe URL as query parameters with given parameter name. These parameters will be prompted to users who select your widget with given human readable name. For this tutorial add new parameter with name QuestionLabel and human readable name Enter Text to Display

    "

    Hi Pesquisas,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.

Let me help you with that:

To create and register a new widget, you need to go to the Add Widgets page in Jotform. This is where you can register your widget by providing details such as the widget name, selecting the iFrame Widget type, entering the URL of your widget's simple.html page, and setting the widget size. You can also add additional parameters that will be appended to your iframe URL as query parameters.

Unfortunately, the exact link to the Add Widgets page is not directly mentioned in the documentation you referred to, but typically, this page is accessible within your Jotform account where you manage widgets or developer settings.

If you need to add widgets to your forms, you can do so in the Form Builder by clicking Add Element, then selecting the Widgets tab to find and configure widgets.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Best regards,
    Jotform Support

    Hi Pesquisas,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. If you click the Add Widget link, or visit the link below, it'll automatically open the Add New Widget wizard

    https://www.jotform.com/widgets/#add-widget

    Here's how it would appear:

If that’s not quite what you’re looking for, can you share a bit more info so I can help you better?

Once you get back to us, we can take the next step toward solving this.

Hi! Thank you for the quick response.

Unfortunately, the link (https://www.jotform.com/widgets/#add-widget) does not open the "Add New Widget" wizard for me.

Instead of seeing what you shared in your screenshot, the link redirects me to the main Jotform Form Widgets gallery, which is the same page I was on before. I cannot find a button or link on that gallery page to add a new widget.

    Context

Custom iFrame Widget to act as an audio recorder for auditing purposes. The goal is for an interviewer to record an entire session, upload the audio file to external storage, and submit the URL of the audio file as the widget's value.

We have the widget's code hosted and ready to be tested.

    Hi PesquisasBrain,

If the Add Widget link is redirecting you to the gallery instead of opening the widget wizard, it’s likely due to a session issue, browser interference, or not being logged into the account. Can you try logging into your Jotform developer account and visiting https://www.jotform.com/mywidgets directly? That page should take you to your widget dashboard, where you can register and manage custom widgets.

If it still doesn’t load properly, try using different browsers or clearing your browser's cache. Once you're in, you’ll be able to select the iFrame type, enter your hosted URL, and define parameters like QuestionLabel.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.

    Hi PesquisasBrain,

My colleague is referring to the account you registered in Jotform, since creating a custom widget requires log in from a registered account. Can you try logging into your account on another device, browser or in incognito mode and check if the Add Widget link is still not appearing on your end? I also tried visiting this link, and it works without issues. Check out the image below:
