Hi team,
We are facing an odd issue. We capture the links of new form responses as tickets within Freshdesk and usually these open without any problems. But my team is facing an issue where the links are not opening or they are taking forever to open and download. I work remotely and it seems to be super fast for me, so I am not sure why it's not working for 4-5 people in the office trying to open the links. Could this be an IP traffic overload issue? Please help me understand.

Hi Kamna,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
Regarding the issue with download links not opening or taking a long time for some users in your office, while working fine remotely, this could be related to network or IP traffic issues on the office side. Sometimes, network congestion, firewall settings, or bandwidth limitations can cause delays in accessing files.
Here’s how to troubleshoot this:
- Check the office network connection for any slowdowns or restrictions that might affect downloading files.
- Verify firewall or security settings that might block or slow down access to Jotform links.
- Try accessing the links from different devices or browsers within the office to identify if the issue is device-specific.
- Consider if there is any IP traffic overload or bandwidth throttling by your office network administrator.
- Clear browser cache or try incognito mode to rule out caching issues.
If the problem persists, it might be helpful to coordinate with your IT team to check for any network policies affecting these downloads.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
Best regards,
Jotform Support -

Hi Kamna,
Can you clarify if the issue is happening to all of your forms? If not, are you referring to this form? If yes, I checked the form and there's no email notification setup. Can you provide us the process on how they are trying to download the links? We also suggest coordinating this to your IT to check if there's any restriction on your co-worker's network or device that my affect the downloading. We also suggest whitelisting Jotform, we've got a guide about Whitelisting Jotform IP Addresses and Domains that will help you do it.
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.
