Dear Jotform Support Team,
I am currently using the CardPointe (CardConnect) payment widget in my Jotform forms. While the integration works fine for processing payments, I noticed that, unlike other payment gateways, the CardPointe widget does not provide an option to send custom fields (such as form name, submission ID, or a reference code) along with the transaction data.
This limitation creates a challenge when reviewing transactions in the CardPointe portal (CardPointe.com). Since multiple forms are using the same payment account and the transaction amounts vary, it is difficult to identify which form each transaction originated from.
It would be extremely helpful if the CardPointe widget allowed us to:
- Map a form field (e.g., Submission ID, Form Title, or a custom reference field) to the transaction description, invoice ID, or reference field in CardPointe.
- Include that information in the CardPointe transaction logs for easier reconciliation.
Could you please confirm if there is any current workaround for this, or if this feature can be considered for a future update?
Thank you very much for your support.
Best regards,
Jason Yoo -

Hi Dong,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
Regarding your request about sending custom fields with CardPointe (CardConnect) payments, currently, the CardConnect integration in Jotform does not support mapping custom form fields (like submission ID or form title) to transaction details such as description or reference fields in the CardPointe portal. This limitation means you cannot directly send additional custom data with the payment transaction for easier identification.
There is no current workaround to include custom fields in the CardPointe transaction logs through Jotform's CardConnect widget. We understand this feature would be helpful for transaction reconciliation and can consider it for future updates.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

Hi Jason,
At the moment, the CardPointe (CardConnect) integration in Jotform does not support sending custom fields, such as the form title, submission ID, or a custom reference code, along with the transaction data to the CardPointe portal. We understand how this limitation can make it challenging to track and reconcile transactions when using the same payment account across multiple forms.
Currently, there's no built-in workaround to map specific form fields to the transaction description or reference fields within CardPointe. While the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.
