Please help me. I have connected my standard PayPal account to my job form so that people can pay for deposits or for a reservation for a puppy that they’d like to buy from my kennel, but for some reason it shows that it’s connected and when I send the form to someone they cannot check out, can you please help?

Hi Chenille,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
It sounds like your PayPal connection is showing as connected, but users cannot complete the checkout. Here’s how to troubleshoot this:
- Verify PayPal Integration: Make sure you are using the current PayPal integration (PayPal Business) in your form, as some older PayPal products are discontinued.
- Check Payment Settings: In your form builder, under Payments, select PayPal and confirm your PayPal account email is correctly entered and the payment type is set properly (e.g., Sell Products or User-Defined Amount).
- Enable Notifications: Turn on the Pending Payment Email option to receive alerts if payments are not completed.
- Test the Form: Use Test Mode with a PayPal Sandbox account to simulate transactions and ensure everything works before going live.
- Check for IPN Issues: PayPal uses Instant Payment Notification (IPN) to confirm payments. Ensure your PayPal account settings allow IPN messages to be sent and received properly.
Following these steps usually resolves checkout issues. If the problem persists, double-check your PayPal account status and form settings.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi Chenille,
I checked your form, and there's no payment integration added. A screenshot is shared below for your reference:
It's easy to add a PayPal Integration to your form. Let's walk through this together:
- Click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the Form Builder page.
- Under the Payments tab, choose one of the PayPal options.
- In the panel on the right side of the page, click on Connect. This will take you to the PayPal page.
- Now, enter all the necessary information and connect your PayPal account with your form. That's it. You're done.
Give it a try and reach out again if you need any other help.
