    Hi Jotform Support,

I’m trying to create an account but I’m running into issues with both Google sign-in and regular email sign-up.

    • Google sign-in → I get this error:
    • Error 400: redirect_uri_mismatch
    • Request details: origin=https://api.jotform.com, flowName=GeneralOAuthFlow
    • Email sign-up → After entering my details and clicking “Continue,” the button briefly shows Loading but then returns to Continue without proceeding. No account is created.

    Browsers tested:

    • Safari Version 18.6 (20621.3.11.11.3)
    • Brave Chromium 139.0.7258.143

It seems there may be an issue with the authentication/redirect configuration. Could you please check and let me know if there’s a workaround to complete the signup?

I’ve attached a screenshot for reference.

Thanks a lot for your help!

    Best regards,

    Paul

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.

Regarding the Google sign-in error 400 (redirect_uri_mismatch), this usually indicates an issue with the OAuth redirect configuration. For the regular email sign-up issue where the button returns without proceeding, it may be related to browser or session problems.

Here’s how to try resolving these issues:

    1. Clear your browser cache and cookies to remove any corrupted session data.
    2. Try signing up using a different browser or incognito/private mode to rule out browser-specific issues.
    3. Ensure your browser allows third-party cookies and pop-ups, as these can affect OAuth flows.

If the Google sign-in error persists, it is likely a configuration issue on the OAuth provider side, which we recommend reporting to Jotform support for further investigation.

Give these steps a try and let us know how it goes.

    Best regards,
    Jotform Support

I tried with a different browser & Incognito mode but the issue remains.

    Hi Paul,

Since trying different browsers and incognito mode didn't resolve the issue, the Google sign-in error 400 likely stems from an OAuth configuration problem on our side. The email sign-up issue may also be related.

We will escalate this to the technical team to investigate further. Meanwhile, you can try signing up using a different email provider or wait for the fix.

    Best regards,
    Jotform Support

Interestingly, I was able to sign-up using the 'sign-in' button. So while I managed to resolve the issue with this workaround, there might still be an issue with the regular 'sign-up' page.

    Hi Paul,

The Google Sign-Up, Error 400: redirect_uri_mismatch, error happens when the redirect URL doesn’t match Google’s expected configuration. Since this is tied to the OAuth flow, using the Sign In with Google button after the account has been created should now work without showing this error. As for the Email Sign-Up not proceeding, in some cases, the Continue button may not advance due to cached sessions, browser extensions, or blocked third-party cookies. A few things you can try if you want to use the regular sign-up page:

    • Clear your browser cache and cookies before attempting sign-up.
    • Temporarily disable ad-blockers or privacy extensions that might interrupt the form submission.
    • Disable third-party cookies and pop-ups in your browser.
    • If possible, test with a different network connection, for example, mobile hotspot, to rule out firewall restrictions.

Since you were able to create your account already, you can continue using the Sign In method to log in. If the issue happens again when creating another account, the steps above should help as a workaround.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
