Form Calculation Not Functioning Properly

every time I enter value in field after I save they revert back. I am trying to make sure that only the names that are valid are entered in name field and if not they receive an error message. I had it working before and now it won't work.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Can you clarify how you previously set up the validation for the name field did you use conditional logic, the Show/Hide Field rule, or a widget (like the Short Text Entry with a specific validation setting)?
