    Hi!

I have already properly cleared the cache, deleted and purged submissions in order to free up space. However, the limit counter is not adjusting. I need assistance in getting the limits to adjust properly into an accurate count.

    Thank you!

    Hi Center_Excel,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I have recalculated your Upload Space, but don't change at all, can you share a screenshot of your Trashed Entries in Jotform Tables? Let me show you how to post a screenshot to our Help Center:

    1. On the Help Center page, scroll down to the Your Answer section and click on the Image icon.

    2. Drag and drop your image into the Upload box, or click on it and select your file.

    3. Then, click on the Add button in the bottom-right corner of the window.

    4. To resize it, click on your screenshot and then click on one of the boxes in the corners, and drag inward.

    5. Once you're finished, click on the Post Answer button at the bottom right of the Your Answer section.

    Hi, Eduarda!

Here are the relevant screenshots that would show the issue:

[1] I deleted all the files from forms that require file upload:

[2] The original submission count for the Client History Form was 27. I downloaded all the copies (using the "Download All" option) and proceeded to delete them. I only saved the latest responses but I cleared also all the file attachments. Here is the screenshot of the trash:

I also cleared the cache several times but still no change.

Thank you very much for your assistance! Hoping this issue will resolve.

    Hi Center_Excel,

To properly free up your upload space and have the limit counter adjust, you need to Purge all deleted data from your account. When you delete submissions or files, they remain in the Trash folder in your Jotform Tables for 30 days before they are permanently removed.

Simply deleting the files is not enough because the deleted files still occupy space until they are purged from the Trash. Go to your Tables, navigate to the Trash folder, and purge the deleted entries to permanently remove them and free up your upload space. Here's how:

    1. In Jotform Tables, click on the Three Dots icon next to your form title in the tabs.
    2. In the dropdown menu, click on Trashed Entries to open the Trash menu.
    3. Then, in the Trash menu on the right, click on the Checkboxes to select the submissions you want to purge. To select all, click on the Select All button.
    4. Now, click on Delete Forever, and in the warning window, click on the Delete button to confirm.

Upload Limit not Adjusting Image 1 Screenshot 20 To avoid permanently losing submission data, it’s recommended to Download Form Submissions as Excel, CSV, or PDF. Purging deleted submissions will free up your Submission Storage and Upload Space but won’t affect other limits. You can also check out our guide about Account Usage and Limits for more information.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.
