    Hello,

Based on a Field value, in my case it is a number DBB# , from one form I would like to grab the email, name, and two other records associated with that record, use all of that data to send out an auto email to that email address.

Looks like I can only upload one screenshot. The ArtistInfo is attached. The other form I have is the Buyer Info, they input the DBB#, with that number can I go into the Artist Info grab the associated Artist email and send a notification that their artwork was sold.

    Thank you!

    Hi Tara,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand that you'd like to pull data from one form into another form using a unique ID as the common identifier, and then send an automatic email to the artist when their artwork is sold. Currently, Jotform forms can't directly query another form's submissions to fetch data by a field value like a unique ID.

What you can do is use an external automation tool such as Zapier, Make, or Jotform Webhooks. These can look up the unique ID from your Artist Info form, match it with the Buyer Info submission, and then send the notification email to the associated artist's email address.

Another option is to import your Artist Info data to Jotform Tables or Google Sheets, then connect that with your Buyer Info form using a lookup workflow in Zapier/Make. That way, whenever a unique ID is submitted, it automatically fetches the related artist details and triggers the notification.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.
