Hey there, i hope you guys are having a good one.

I'm having trouble downloading a sample CSV to one of my forms. I'm currently using a store-like template, and there's a button to import products. When I click the "Download Sample" button, it asks for the file, but it should first download the example.

You can find attached the screen I'm seeing,

I'm looking forward to listening back from you, also, I'm here to provide more details if needed.Product List: Unable to download the example CSV file when importing products Image 1 Screenshot 20

    Hi Hidrabell,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.

Regarding the issue with the "Download Sample" button in your store-like template form, it seems like instead of downloading the example CSV file, it's prompting you to upload a file. This is not the expected behavior.

    Here’s how to troubleshoot this:

    1. Refresh your browser and try clicking the "Download Sample" button again to see if it triggers the download.
    2. Clear your browser cache or try using a different browser to rule out any caching issues.
    3. Check for any browser extensions that might interfere with file downloads and temporarily disable them.

If these steps don’t resolve the problem, please provide more details about your browser and any error messages you see.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Best regards,
    Jotform Support

    Hi Hidrabell,

I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, and the same thing happened. Check out the screencast below to see my results:

I tried it on a new form and got the same results, so I’ve passed the details to our Developers to dig into. We’ll get back to you with an update as soon as we can.

    Hi Hidrabell,

Our team is investigating the problem. In the meantime, you can create an Excel file or Google Sheet with the Product Title, Description, Price, and Image Src, and then upload it to the system. This will allow you to map the fields. Please try this and let us know how it goes.
