    Hello

I created a committee progress report jotform and had the multiple selection widget in place on four different times on my form.

The first two times were at the beginning of the form where I typed 600 names in the widget properties as options for selection. The second time the two questions were displayed both had five different options. I tested the form in both preview and live where I sent the link to someone to complete it and it worked perfectly.

A couple days later, I had someone complete the live form and the multiple selection widgets showed the title of the question but the box displaying the option to place an answer disappeared so there was no way to answer those four questions. I tried deleting the widget all together and starting over but it worked on my computer after creating it but did not show on other people's computer.

I ended up having to change the way we selected those questions all together in order to make the form live and go out for its intended purpose but I would like to get those widgets to eventually work properly.

    Please help!

    Hi DST_GCAC,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.

It sounds like the Multiple Selection widget options are not displaying for some users, even though they appear fine on your computer. This issue can sometimes happen due to browser compatibility or caching problems on the users' side.

Let me help you with that:

    1. Clear browser cache on the affected users' devices or try using a different browser to see if the options appear.
    2. Check widget settings to ensure all options are properly saved and there are no conflicts with other form elements.
    3. Consider using alternative widgets like the Checklist widget or Multiple Choice element if the issue persists, as they offer similar functionality and might be more stable across different devices.

If you want, you can also try rebuilding the widget with fewer options initially to test if a large number of options might be causing the problem.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Best regards,
    Jotform Support

    Hi technologydstcleveland,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked the form named GCAC Communications/PR/Technology Engagement Form But it does not have any multiple selection widget. Can you share the link to the form you're referring to so we can further check it? Also, if you can take a screenshot of what’s happening, that'll help us to understand better what’s going on. Let me show you how to post a screenshot to our Help Center:

    1. On the Help Center page, scroll down to the Your Answer section and click on the Image icon.

    2. Drag and drop your image into the Upload box, or click on it and select your file.

    3. Then, click on the Add button in the bottom-right corner of the window.

    4. To resize it, click on your screenshot and then click on one of the boxes in the corners, and drag it inward.

    5. Once you're finished, click on the Post Answer button at the bottom right of the Your Answer section.

Yes I am aware. I had to take it off and choose something else because my form is live

    Hi technologydstcleveland,

I understand that you've taken off the Multiple Selection widget since your form is live. But we need that widget in your form with the same setup where you experience the issue. I suggest that you clone your form and then add the widget with the same set-up that you had in the original form. Then share the form link in your response for us to check on it. Clone an Existing Form From Your Account is easy. Let me walk you through it:

    1. Go to your My Workspace page, and hover your mouse to the form that you want to clone.

    2. Click on the More dropdown menu on its right.

    3. Select the Clone from the options, and the cloned form will open in a new tab.

After we hear back from you, we’ll know what’s going on and how to help.
