Hi Amlion,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Let me help you with that:
Currently, only the form owner can generate a PDF version of submitted forms using the PDF Editor. However, to allow submitters to get a PDF copy of their approved submission, you can set up an autoresponder email that includes the PDF attachment of their submission. This way, once their form is approved, they will receive the PDF automatically for their documentation.
Here’s how to do it:
- Go to Settings in your form builder.
- Select Emails and add an Autoresponder Email.
- Enable PDF Attachment in the autoresponder settings to send the submission PDF to the submitter.
This setup will ensure submitters get their approved form as a PDF copy.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
Best regards,

Hi amliontoothpaste,
You can easily attach the PDF Document to the email from the flow. Let me show you how:
- Open your flow in Flow Builder, and click on the Gear icon next to the email where you wish to attach the PDF.
- Open the Advanced tab in the popup modal.
- Enable Send Submission PDFs option.
- Choose which PDF you would like to send to your users and don't forget to save the changes.
That's it. Now all emails should have PDFs attached to them.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
