Hi Jimmy,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Let me show you how:
You can use the Field Manager to copy fields from one form to another. Here’s how:
- Open the Field Manager at https://fieldmanager.jotform.io/ and click Manage Fields, then Allow.
- Select the forms you want to work with.
- Click the fields you want to copy and use the Arrow icon to move them to the other form.
This copies the fields but not the submissions.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
Best regards,

Hi Jimmy,
If a section is to be reused across multiple forms, it is also possible to save it as a form template and subsequently import it into a new form as needed. Make the section-only form, save it as a template that only you can see, use the section in a new form, and (optional) use the Field Manager app to add the section to an existing form. It's easy to save your form as a template. Here’s how:
- On your Workspace page, hover your mouse over your desired form and click More.
- In the Publish section, click on Share as Template.
As an overview, email settings, integrations, and conditional logic may need to be recreated or changed after importing because templates save fields and their properties. If your section uses calculations or conditions, double-check them after copying to ensure field IDs or targets are correct. If that works for you, let us know more, like the form URL and the part of the form you want to use as a template.
Reach out again if there’s anything else we can help you with.

Thank you for this info. I did copy and move a section to another form but the Conditions did not move with it. Is that possible?

Hi Jimmy,
Note that when you copy a section of a form to another, the Conditions applied to it will not be copied. You have to manually add the Condition on your new form.
