Change my email address to share it with another user

    Hello!

    I was wondering if I could get more information about the process of changing my Jotform account email and the impact it has on integrations with my Google Drive.

    My goal is to change my personal email on my Jotform account to a more general one so I can share the password with another team member while I'm gone.

    I am mainly concerned about pre-existing integrations I've set up through my google drive account. If possible, I would like to maintain ownership of those on my Google Drive account--I just want to change the user info we use to log into Jotform. Will changing my email break the integration?

    If so, what do you recommend we do? We have about 100 Jotforms, and most of them have integrations setup and are used daily. We just don't want to miss any submissions if the integration ceases to work.

    Changing your Jotform account email will transfer the ownership of the account, including all forms and submission data, to the new email address. This means the integrations with Google Drive will continue to work as long as the account is accessed with the new email credentials. The ownership of your Google Drive files linked through integrations will remain with your Google Drive account, so changing your Jotform email won't break the integrations.

    Here’s how to change your Jotform account email:

    1. Go to your My Workspace page and click on your Profile Picture at the top-right.
    2. Click on your name to open your Account Page.
    3. Click on Edit next to your current email address.
    4. Enter your new email address and click Save.
    5. If email verification is enabled, follow the verification steps sent to your old and new email addresses.

    If you want to keep the current account but share forms and data with another user, you can transfer forms to another account instead. You can find more details in our guide on how to transfer your forms and data to another account.

    Hi Rodney,

    You can change your Jotform account email address and keep all the data you have in your account without any issues. However, please keep in mind that sharing your login credentials with other users is prohibited by our terms of use, as our standard plans are intended for single users only.

    If you need multiple users to access the account, we recommend upgrading to an Enterprise plan, which supports multiple users and team collaboration features.
