Hello,
I am trying to create my forms to:
-Request email from signer
-email "Submit" takes them to the w9 form to fill out
-w9 form is filled out
-Once w9 is signed, option to "Email PDF" is available
So far, email doesnt seem to be recognized by form flow. It will not allow "email as PDF" button once form is signed.

Hi File_Docs,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Let me help you with that:
To enable the "Email PDF" button after the W9 form is signed, ensure the email is properly captured and linked in the form flow. You can attach the filled PDF to email notifications by going to the Settings tab in Form Builder, selecting Emails, editing the notification email, and enabling the Attach PDF option under the Advanced tab.
This setup allows the PDF to be emailed once the form is submitted and signed. If you want to include a download link instead of an attachment, add the {pdf-link} tag in the email content.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
Best regards,

Hi File_Docs,
As suggested by our AI Assistant, Attaching your submissions as PDF files to your Notification Emails is easy. Let me walk you through it:
1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on the Settings tab.
2. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Emails.
3. Hover your mouse over the Notification Email element and click on the Pencil icon.
4. Click on the Advanced tab, toggle Attach PDF to the On position, and select the PDF file you created.
5. Now, scroll down, click on Save, and you're done.

Thanks Manilene,
will this provide the submitter with a PDF copy of their filled W9 form? or will it only provide them a copy of the blank w9 form? I'll try this out now. Thank you for the help!

Also, email address cannot be apart of the W9 form. So there has to be a flow that allows:
-Enter/capture user email
-navigate to W9 form - sign form
-Send email as PDF must be toggled on so user can receive a copy of their signed forms as well

Hi File_Docs,
It will give the copy of the filled PDF document. The data from their submission will be included in the fields of the PDF document. And also, yes, the email address won't be apart from the W9 form, as we're attaching the PDF document to the notification email of your form, so it will be sent as an attachment that they can download on their end. If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better?
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.
