Hi there! I'm trying to connect my PayPal account to take payments, but every time I try and create a "connection," it loads and loads but doesn't save. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi Sasadya,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.

It sounds like you're having trouble saving your PayPal connection in your form. Here’s how to properly set up a PayPal Standard reusable payment connection:

    1. In Form Builder, click Add Element on the left.
    2. Under Payments tab, search for PayPal Standard and add it to your form.
    3. Click the Plug icon in Payment Properties to open the PayPal Standard Connection window.
    4. Select Test Mode or Live Mode, enter a connection name and your PayPal email, then click Connect with PayPal Standard.
    5. After successful connection, click Save.
    6. Select your PayPal connection and click Use, then configure payment type and currency as needed.

If the connection keeps loading without saving, try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser. Also, ensure your PayPal account is active and properly set up.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Best regards,
    Jotform Support

    Hi Sasadya,

To confirm, are you referring to this form? If so, I cloned your form to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything is working properly. Take a look at the screencast below:

Issue with creating a payment connection Image 1 Screenshot 20 As a precaution, I've cleared your form caches. Can you go ahead and try again? If the issue persists, could you send us a screen recording of what is happening so we can look into it? You can share the video recording on any public sharing platform like Google Drive or Dropbox, or you can simply use Loom to record the video and share the video link with us.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.
