The save and continue feature is not working on the app

I have created an app holding multiple forms and links. My problem is if someone is filling out one of the forms (not completed) and needs to switch back to the app splash screen to open some other portion or link, it wipes out the data in the original form. Is there some work around to this, such as a SAVE and complete later. If so, how do I make sure that the person filling the form has access to go back and continue the incomplete form. Thanks in advance!

    Hi Phoenix,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Let me help you with that:

You can enable the Save and Continue Later feature on your forms. This allows users to save their progress and return to complete the form later without losing data.

    Here’s how to enable it:

    1. Open your form in Form Builder.
    2. Click the Submit button's gear icon to open its properties.
    3. Go to the Advanced tab and turn on Save And Continue Later.

This adds a Save button on your form, letting users save their draft by logging into Jotform or getting a draft link via email. They can then use this link to return and continue the form later.

Note that incomplete drafts are automatically deleted after two months, and some widgets are not compatible with this feature.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Best regards,
    Jotform Support

    Hi PhoenixSecurity,

In this case, the save and continue feature should have worked. I tested an app on my end and it seems that the save and continue later option is now working:

I created a ticket about it and escalated this to our Developer team. As soon as we have an update, we’ll let you know.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we investigate this further.
