I like to pre-fill a customer's information first so the cusomter can just sign without spending time filling up a form in the Jotform app because the form is long. How can I accomplish that?
Thanks
Calvin

Hi Calvin,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
To pre-fill customer information on your signature form in the Jotform app, you can use the URL pre-population feature. This allows you to pass data via URL parameters so the form fields are filled automatically when the customer opens the form. Here’s how to do it:
- Identify the field names or IDs you want to pre-fill.
- Create a URL with parameters for each field, like ?name=John&email=john@example.com.
- Share this pre-filled URL with your customers so they only need to sign.
This method saves time by reducing the amount of information customers need to enter manually.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
Best regards,
Jotform Support -

Hi Calvin,
You can only Prepopulate Form Fields via URL Parameters, and use other Prefill features to prepopulate your form fields with your form user's data. At the moment, it's not possible to prepopulate form fields directly inside the Jotform App interface when the form is added as a native element in the app. Prefill via URL parameters only works when the form is accessed directly through its standalone URL, not within the Jotform App.
While the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.

Thank you Jason, I was able to use manual pre-filled option. We can close this request now.
