Hi,
When I submit a form, the email submission I receive does not show the table lines or the shaded table cells.
How can I rectify this
I have shared a link to the form and a screen shot of the submissionPage URL: https://form.jotform.com/251876185327062 -

Hi Richie,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. When I cloned and tested your form, the same thing happened for me. After investigating it a bit, I found that custom CSS has been added to the form to highlight some Input Table fields in yellow. The CSS you added is applied at the form level, meaning it only affects how the form looks when it’s being filled out, like hiding certain checkboxes or highlighting fields visually.
Since it’s for styling and doesn’t store any data, it’s expected that this won’t be included in form submissions or reflected in email notifications. While this feature that you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.

Ok Thank you.
Is there away I can recreate the form by hiding checkboxes or having them not appear on certain cells without using CSS? -

Hi Richie,
To clarify, are you trying to conditionally hide the checkbox or totally not display it? Can you explain a bit more about the issue, so I can get a better idea of what's happening?
After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.

HeppellRichieReplied on August 7, 2025 at 5:14 AMHi,
In certain cells I would like the checkbox not to be visible at all. Whether it is hidden, not displayed, not present.
I have rows and columns with checkboxes as per this form https://form.jotform.com/251876185327062
Some of the checkboxes are not needed so are not required to be displayed or used. -
