    Hi Nate,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Let me help you with that:

You can connect your form to a fillable PDF and have it emailed to the person who submitted the form by using Jotform's PDF Editor. Here's how:

    1. In Form Builder, go to the Publish tab.
    2. Select the PDF tab on the left, then click Download to open PDF Editor.
    3. Customize your PDF layout as needed in PDF Editor.
    4. Set up email notifications or autoresponders to include the filled PDF as an attachment or a download link to send to the submitter.

This way, when someone fills out your form, the specific PDF will be filled and emailed automatically.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Best regards,
    Jotform Support

    Hi Nate,

You can fill out the fields of your existing PDF form by importing it into Jotform's PDF Editor. Here's how:

    1. Go to your My Workspace page and click Create, then select Smart PDF Form.
    2. Upload your existing PDF form to convert it into an online fillable form.
    3. Map your online form fields to the PDF fields to ensure data fills correctly.

This will allow submissions to fill your specific PDF and you can set up email notifications to send it automatically.

    Best regards,
    Jotform Support

    Hi Nate,

To connect your existing online form to your fillable PDF, you need to use Jotform Smart PDF Forms. Upload your PDF as a Smart PDF Form, then map the fields from your online form to the PDF fields. This links the data so submissions fill out your PDF automatically.

You can update or replace the PDF anytime without losing your field mappings.

    Best regards,
    Jotform Support

    Hi Nate,

Could you confirm that you have an existing PDF, and you wanted it connected to your form? If this is correct, you need to use Jotform Smart PDF Forms. Upload your PDF as a Smart PDF Form, then map the fields from your online form to the PDF fields. This links the data, so submissions fill out your PDF automatically.

Connecting your form by uploading a PDF is easy. Let me show you how to do it:

    1. On your My Workspace page, click on Create on the top-left side of the page.
    2. Select Form from the assets, and then click on Smart PDF Form.
    3. In Smart PDF Forms, click on Upload Document, and then select the PDF you want to convert to a form, or just drag and drop the PDF into the white upload area.

Sometimes the fields automatically created in the PDF file end up in the wrong place. If that happens, you’ll need to move and resize them. Check out the screencast below to see how it’s done:

If some fields aren’t added automatically, you can manually add them to your form, and then match it to the PDF on the right side of the page.

That's it. Once you set everything up, when the form is filled, it will automatically fill your PDF file. Check out the screencast below to see how it'll work:

Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.
