    How can I

I want to append everything below to the small text box: "Plumbing deficiencies:"

Are there water heater deficiencies? (multiple choice)

Water pressure high range: (multiple choice)

Are there any major plumbing deficiencies? (multiple choice)

Are there any deteriorated or damaged hoses, pipes or drains present? (multiple choice) but only append the answer: "Deteriorated or damaged hoses, pipes or drains", do not append the

    "No" answer

I'm thinking, I better start learning this or I'm screwed!

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Jonathan,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. To clarify, do you mean you want to add values from the fields below to the Plumbing deficiencies field?

    • Are there water heater deficiencies? (multiple choice)
    • Water pressure high range: (multiple choice)
    • Are there any major plumbing deficiencies? (multiple choice)

If that's so, you can use the same logic I shared in your other thread to set up a condition that copies the selected options from those multiple choice fields into your Plumbing deficiencies field, as long as the Are there any deteriorated or damaged hoses, pipes or drains present? field isn’t set to No. It's easy to set up. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Settings in the blue navigation bar at the top.

    2. Choose Conditions in the menu on the left, then click on Add Condition, and choose Update/Calculate Field.

    3. Set the condition as you see below, then click on Save.

And that's it. The form's a bit long so I can't attach a longer screen recording here, but you can check out my cloned form to see how it works now.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any more help.

    Hi Jonathan,

Could you clarify first that you're referring to condition statement #1 in your form? See the screencast below for reference:

I've cloned your form to understand the conditions, but I could not identify yet which update/calculate condition you used to append 169 deteriorated hoses because I did not see the field value in any of the update/calculate conditions.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

    Hi Jonathan,

Can you share with us a screen recording of what’s happening so we can try to replicate it on our end? You can share the video recording on any public sharing platform like Google Drive or Dropbox, or you can simply use Loom to record the video and share the video link with us.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

    Hi Jonathan,

Do you mean to include the field with the label Are there any deteriorated or damaged hoses, pipes or drains present? If that's the case, you can simply add the field on the condition like this:
