    How can I transfer form and ownsership of the jotform?

    5. Click Transfer Forms to send the transfer request.

    Your client will need to accept the transfer request to complete the process.

    Hi Touseef,

    The Transfer Forms button is located on the Data page of your Jotform account, not on the My Forms page.

    Here’s how to find it:

    1. Go to the Data page by visiting your account settings or directly at https://www.jotform.com/myaccount/data.
    2. Scroll down to the bottom of the Data page.
    3. Click the Transfer Forms button there to start the transfer process.

    Make sure your forms are not connected to Jotform Apps, Workflows, or other integrations, as this can prevent the transfer option from appearing.

    Hi Touseef,

    To transfer a form linked to Google Sheets, you need to first disconnect the integration, as forms connected to integrations cannot be transferred directly.

    Here’s what to do:

    1. Go to your form’s Settings and select Integrations.
    2. Find the Google Sheets integration and remove or disable it.
    3. Return to the Data page in your account and use the Transfer Forms button to transfer the form.

    After the transfer, you can set up the Google Sheets integration again in the new owner’s account.

    To be able to transfer the form, I'm afraid you will need to remove all integrations added to the form, including the Google Sheet integration.

    Hi Touseef,

    You can forward the instruction below to your client to accept a form transfer request.

    1. On the Form Transfer Request email, click on View Transfer Request.

    2. Or, on your My Workspace page, click on your Profile Image/Avatar in the upper right.

    3. In the menu that opens, click on Settings.

    4. Go to the Data tab on the left side of the page.

    5. Then, in the Transfer Forms section, under Pending Transfer, click on View Details.

    6. On the Form Transfer Request Received menu that pops up, click on Accept.

    7. In the next smaller pop-up menu, click on Accept.

    8. Finally, on the last pop-up modal, click on View in My Workspace.

    On your My Workspace page, a new folder called Transferred Forms will be automatically created with the forms moved to your account, like you can see here:
