Hi! I have a google sheet being updated daily with a list of items that need to display in a jotform dropdown. Is there a way to automate this? I'd love if the dropdown could automatically add items added as new rows to a spreadsheet. (Not excel, but google sheet)

Hi Lisa,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
You can automate populating a Jotform dropdown from a Google Sheet using the Spreadsheet to Form Widget. However, this widget requires an Excel file (XLS or XLSX), so Google Sheets files are not directly supported for this widget.
Alternatively, you can integrate your form with Google Sheets to send form submissions to a sheet, but this integration does not automatically update dropdown options based on new rows in your Google Sheet.
For your need to have the dropdown automatically update with new items added as rows in a Google Sheet, currently, Jotform does not support direct real-time synchronization from Google Sheets to dropdown fields.
One workaround is to periodically export your Google Sheet as an Excel file and upload it to the Spreadsheet to Form Widget to update the dropdown options.
Let us know if you want detailed steps on using the Spreadsheet to Form Widget or integrating your form with Google Sheets.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi Lisa,
I checked your account and found that the Rooted & Rising House Meetings: I AM READY TO HOST! form and it's the one that's integrated with Google Sheets. Can you give an example of what you want to happen? When I cloned your form and tested it, new rows are being added from the Are you affiliated with a PICO California Federation? column when new submissions are being added. After we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with this.
