Here’s what I want to achieve in my form:
- The user completes the form and watches a video (embedded on the final page).
- Then, they see an image (for example, a button or banner) that links to a WhatsApp contact or group.
- The user clicks the image and is redirected to WhatsApp.
- After that, the form is submitted.
My questions:
- Where should I place this image with the WhatsApp link: on the last page before the Submit button, or after it?
- Is it possible to track or condition the form submission based on whether the person clicks the WhatsApp link?
- How can I embed a clickable WhatsApp link on an image inside Jotform?
- If the person clicks the WhatsApp image but doesn’t return to submit the form, it will remain unsubmitted. What is the best order or setup to make sure they both submit the form and contact us on WhatsApp?
Thank you for the help!

Hi felipestefanoni,
Here is something you can try out. You can set up the form to automatically redirect to a website after the form has been submitted.
So on your final page you can put your image over the submit button. You can also change the button text to something different if you'd like.
To have the form redirect, just go to Settings, then over to Thank you page. Switch the setting to "redirect to an external link after submission", and type in your link into "Enter URL"
Once they hit submit, all the form data will be logged.
If you want to make a clickable link, paragraph form element, then you can use the "insert or edit link" feature in the top right.
Hope that helps!

I couldn't find the path described: To have the form redirect, just go to Settings, then over to Thank you page. Switch the setting to "redirect to an external link after submission", and type in your link into "Enter URL"
Could you please clarify where exactly I can find this option?
Can you show me the path by video? -

Hi Felipe,
I checked your form, and it appears that you're using the Card Form Layout. You can see the Thank You Page of the Card Form Layout at the bottom page of your Form Builder. You can add an action button to visit your WhatsApp. Let me show you how to do this:
- In Form Builder, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Edit Thank You Page.
- Next, click on Action Buttons at the top, then select Visit URL.
- Enter the link to your WhatsApp in the Enter URL Link.
- Then, enter your preferred URL title in the Enter URL Title and click on Create on the lower right side of the page.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
