How to integrate a Birthday field in Constant Contact?

I am looking at Jotform to sync with Constant Contact. CC parses my data relating to birth date as 1 field. When I try to set up the export function Jotform uses birthdate in 3 fields and not 1. Can this be changed?

    Hi Ron,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.

Regarding your question about syncing birthdate data with Constant Contact, Jotform exports the birthdate as three separate fields by default. Unfortunately, this format cannot be changed to a single field export within Jotform's current integration setup.

If you need further assistance or alternative solutions, please let me know.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Ron,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Can you clarify what you mean by the date field being exported as three separate fields? I created a form using a Date field, integrated it with Constant Contact, and also exported the data to an XLSX file, all of which showed the date in a single field.

Can you send me the link to your form so I can take a look at it for you? If you can also take a screenshot of what’s happening, that will help us to better understand what’s going on. We have a guide about how to do that here.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

It looks like you did not use the date of birth field but instead used another date field for anniversary to work around.

I have no idea what you are looking for.

I created a base form with certain client info we would need including the date of birth. I then went to test an integration and when it asked for fields from jotform it breaks it down to day a field for month and another for year to connect with CC which has the single field

    Hi Ron,

The Birthday field in Constant Contact is a Number field, which is why the Date field becomes grayed out when it's selected during the integration. You can add a number field if you'd like to use the Birthday Field in the Constant Contact. Let me show you how to do that:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Add Element on the left side of the page.
    2. In the Form Elements menu, under the Basic tab, scroll down to Number, and drag and drop two Number elements to your form. How to integrate a Birthday field in Constant Contact? Image 1 Screenshot 80
    3. Click on the Number field, then click on the Gear icon on the right side of the field to open Properties
    4. Go to Options tab, then turn the Entry Limits toggle to On.
    5. On the Maximum field, type 12. How to integrate a Birthday field in Constant Contact? Image 2 Screenshot 91
    6. Do it again for the Birthday Day field but set the Maximum field to 31. How to integrate a Birthday field in Constant Contact? Image 3 Screenshot 102
    7. In the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    8. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Integrations.
    9. Now, select your Constant Contact integration. How to integrate a Birthday field in Constant Contact? Image 4 Screenshot 113

    11. Then, match the birthday fields with the fields we added. How to integrate a Birthday field in Constant Contact? Image 6 Screenshot 135
    12. Finally, click Save.

This is what it looks like when we submit an entry:
