I am unable to access the jotform database - every time I try to log in, I receive the error message that the 'API Limit' has been exceeded.

    How can this be remedied?

    Thanks

    Hi David,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked your email address and it appears to be associated with a Guest Account, which only allows a one-time login. If you're referring to a different account, provide the username or the email address linked to that account so we can investigate further.

As per the error you're getting, the API Limit Exceeded error message appears when you exceed your daily API call allowance. The number of allowed requests per day varies depending on your subscription plan, and the limit automatically resets at midnight Eastern Standard Time.

It's really easy to monitor your API limit usage. Let me show you how:

    1. Go to API Documentation, choose User on the left side of the screen and select GET/user/usage.
    2. Input your API key on the Test Console and click the Try It out button.
    3. Scroll down on the Response body to view the Limit-left for your account.

Hello - I pay for a monthly subscription - I believe silver. I'm not sure how my account would be showing as a guest account? I also do not know what my API Key is or how to access my API Key...

The username for my account is David_Konopka or dkonopka@holder.com

    Hi David,

I was able to find your paid account using the username. I’ve reset your account’s API limit for you. The API Limit Exceeded error occurs when the number of API calls goes beyond your daily allowance. As a Silver plan user, you’re allowed up to 50,000 API requests per day, and this limit automatically resets at midnight Eastern Standard Time.

Let me show you how to heck and create a new API key:

    1. On your My Forms page, click on your Avatar/Profile Image on the top-right side of the page, and then click on Settings.API Limit Exceeded Error Message when Logging In Image 1 Screenshot 40
    2. Now, on the left side of the page, click on API. In the API settings page select Create a New API key.API Limit Exceeded Error Message when Logging In Image 2 Screenshot 51
    3. A new API key will be added at the bottom, you can customize the name by clicking on the current API key name and edit the access by clicking the type of access to show dropdown options.API Limit Exceeded Error Message when Logging In Image 3 Screenshot 62

Reach out again if you need any more help.
