Hi Hazel,
Jotform doesn't currently support embedding a live calendar view directly within the form that displays approved or upcoming bookings. The calendar elements available in Jotform like the Date Picker or Appointment field are designed for date selection, and not for displaying scheduled events. These fields can show unavailable dates, but they don't function as a visual calendar of existing bookings.
If you need to have a calendar of approved bookings, the best workaround is to integrate your workflow to Google Calendar to see all your approved bookings. Let me show you how:
- In Workflow Builder, click on the Add Element button on the left side of the page.
- Under the Integrations tab, click on the Google Calendar integration and select Create New Event. Drag and drop the Google Calendar Integration at the end of the flow.
- Click on Complete Settings
- In the window that opens, authenticate your Google Calendar account. Enter your account and click on Authenticate.
- Here, you can customize Meeting Title, add Required Attendees, match Form Fields, and add form fields to your Event Description.
- You can also select to Update event when a submission is edited or Create event only if time slot is available.
- After customizing your integration, click on Save.
Now, when a booking has been approved, the form submission automatically triggers an integration with Google Calendar. This creates a calendar event using the booking details, ensuring that the booking is logged without any manual entry. You can also check out this guide on How to Integrate Google Calendar with Jotform Workflows.
Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.
