Hello i want to be able to have customers fill out a form with contact info totals all that and then if it’s available and i approve it i was to be able to send them the other form but have their info transferred over to the other form. I’ve tried the prefill but it sends the generic message and won’t let me customize the message it sends so i don’t want the customer to get confused on the forms. So is there another way or a way to customize it so that the automatic response isn’t generic

    Hi bsrentalservice,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand that you're trying to pass the data from one form to another form after the submission is approved. We can use the Workflow feature for this. The Workflow feature allows us to add a Form element to the Workflow and enable the Prefill function. This function will prefill the next form using the data from the previous form in the Workflow. You can review the guide here to get a detailed guide.

As for the custom message that you want to send to the submitters, can you elaborate on it? Are you trying to add the custom message to your Workflow emails, or is this message included in the form fields?

After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.

Yea basically I want the email to have the total amount due and little information like that as well as the link to another form. I got the profile thing to work, but it sends it in a jotform format not like the other emails where you can customize it. I want it to say the business name like the other response emails so they don't think it's spam or anything. kind of like the "edit link" when using the get url page and you can put in the conditions if the link says edit show this. Im basically wanting to fill out a reservation form, give them an estimate, if the dates are available then I want to prove it via workflow, and when I approve it I want it to take their name and address, etc put it into basically another form that has a payment and 2 contracts to sign but in the email I want to be able to put where to pick up and more info like that. as well as not have to do the Jotform formatted email like the image attached. I want it to be more like this with a link to the form but when they click the form the info they've already filled out in the first one is there,

    Hi hazelwood3d,

You can actually customize the email notification of the Form element in the Workflow. In the email content, you can remove the default texts and write your own message. You can also hyperlink a text with your prefilled form using this variable {formLink}. Let me show you how to do that:

    1. Create a workflow in your form.

    2. Add a form that you want to prefill using the Form element under your approval flow.

    3. Click on the Form element, then the Cog icon to open its properties or settings.

    4. In the Form Properties, click on the Advanced tab.

    5. Click on the Edit button to edit the User Email Notification.

You can then customize the email content. You can add or edit the existing texts. It is also possible to include field values from the other form by clicking on the Form Fields from the top toolbar. The prefilled form link can also be hyperlinked using this variable {formLink}.
