Dear Jotform,
We understand the complexity of the current geopolitical situation and respect the right of any organization to take a stance. However, we urge you to reconsider the restrictions imposed on ordinary Russian citizens, who are not responsible for political decisions and are, in many ways, also victims of circumstances.
By blocking access to your platform for Russian users, you are not expressing disagreement with the policies of the Russian government—you are only making life harder for people who rely on your services for work, education, communication, and access to unbiased information. Many use your platform to stay connected with the world, express their views, or even voice dissent.
We appeal to your sense of fairness and humanity: please do not punish individuals for circumstances beyond their control. Restoring access would demonstrate a commitment to inclusivity and the belief that technology should bridge divides, not deepen them.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Makarov Andrew

Hi Makarov,
To better understand and look further into the issue you're experiencing, could you confirm whether you or others you know are currently unable to access the Jotform platform? If so, are there any specific error messages being shown, or is access restricted in a particular way (e.g., website not loading, unable to log in, or receiving a specific notification)?
Also, have you made any recent changes to your browser, VPN, or network settings that might affect connectivity? These details will help us gain more clarity on your specific situation so we can further assist or escalate your case to the appropriate team for review.
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

Dear Shaira,
I'm reaching out regarding a notification from your service stating that it's unavailable in my region due to my location in Russia and Russian citizenship. I find this situation unfair, as I have no influence over my country's policies.
To illustrate:
I would appreciate your clarification on this matter and any potential solutions that might be available.
Best regards,
Andrew

Hi Andrew,
Be aware that as of May 20, 2023, we have stopped accepting new account registrations from countries such as Russia, Iran, and Syria. This decision was made in adherence to the sanctions imposed by the OFAC, meaning that individuals residing in these countries are now unable to sign up for Jotform accounts.
Reach out again if you have any other questions.
