Hi Rahul,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I cloned your private form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything was working properly. Check out the screencast below to see my results:
As you can see, the Total NTH is not showing any negative value when the State is equal to Delhi. Can you take a screenshot of what’s happening and send it to us? We’ve got a guide here that’ll show you how to do that.
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

Hi Rahul,
I cloned the form, and I couldn't replicate the same issue on my end, as you can see in my screencast below:
I checked the calculations for the Total NTH field and noticed that it’s configured twice, once within the widget itself and again through conditions. To avoid conflicts or confusion, I recommend using only one method. Additionally, you just need to remove the initial + in your calculation widget for it to work correctly.
- In Form Builder, click on the Wand icon of the Calculation widget.
- In the menu on the right side of the page, remove the First + from your calculations.
- Click on the Conditions icon of the Calculation widget.
- You can remove the calculations there and keep the widget calculations.
To help us investigate further, you can share a screenshot showing the inputs so we can identify where the issue might be. I noticed you have several conditions set up to calculate the Total NTH field at the end. One of your answers may be triggering a conflict, but we haven’t been able to replicate the issue on our end. Let me show you how to post a screenshot to our Help Center:
1. On the Help Center page, scroll down to the Your Answer section and click on the Image icon.
2. Drag and drop your image into the Upload box, or click on it and select your file.
3. Then, click on the Add button in the bottom-right corner of the window.
4. To resize it, click on your screenshot and then click on one of the boxes in the corners, and drag it inward.
5. Once you're finished, click on the Post Answer button at the bottom right of the Your Answer section.

Hi Rahul,
When I checked the form, I noticed that the PF Employee field is calculated as 1800,00 instead of 1800. Because of this formatting, the negative sign will always appear based on your calculations, as shown below:
Upon further checking, I noticed that the decimals are set to display 2 decimal places in the numerical results. This should be set to 0 instead, as shown below:
- In Form Builder, click on the Conditions icon of the Calculation widget.
- Hover over the last condition and click on the Pencil icon.
- Click on the Small Gear icon to open the calculation Options
- Select 0 next to the Decimal Places in Numerical Results and click on Save.
Check out the result of my test below:
Reach out again if you need any other help.
