I am confused by two things.

    1. How do I put my App on App Store or Google Play?
    2. If my App was on App Store and Google Play? How do I receive, my, subscription money as I can`t seem to create any sort of link. Do App Store or Google Play take a cut? How I would do it is connect my PayPal email to App Store and Google Pay and then the money comes straight to me whenever somebody subscribes.

    Your copilot was not helping.

    Kind regards,

    John.

    Hi John,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support.  It's currently not possible to publish a Jotform App in the App Store or the Google Play Store, because the apps are progressive web apps. A progressive web app (PWA) is essentially a website that behaves like a mobile app on an end user’s smartphone. The best way to download your app is by using the Publish section in App Builder. Let me walk you through it:

    1. In App Builder, click on Publish on the purple navigation bar at the top of the page.
    2. From Quick Share, there are different options to share your app. Let me show you how to do this:
    3. Under Your App Link, click on Copy Link and manually sending it to the user.
    4. You can directly send it to user's by entering their email addresses in the To field under Invite By Email and click on the Send Invitation button.
    5. You can also share it through different apps by clicking on the QR Code, WhatsApp, Facebook LinkedIn and X icons under Share App

    Hi John,

Unfortunately, the app itself can’t be restricted to paid users only. As a workaround, you can create a form that includes a payment integration to collect payments from your users. Once the payment is completed, you can configure an Autoresponder email to automatically send them the link to access the app. This way, only users who successfully submit the form and complete the payment will receive the app link.

Jotform is an online form builder that provides a number of tools and 10,000+ customized templates. Dragging and dropping features or elements makes it really easy to create forms. I'll help you do it:

    1. On your My Workspace page, in the top-left corner of the page, click on Create.

    2. Then, click on Form and, select Create From Scratch.

    3. On the next page, select Classic form if you want to show multiple form elements on a page, and choose Card form if you want the form elements shown individually on each page of the form.

    4. In Form Builder, click on Add Element in the left corner of the page to see the complete list of Form Elements, Payment Gateways, and Widgets.

    5. In the menu that opens, drag and drop the Form Elements, Payment Gateway and Widgets you want to use.

Then you can Set up an Autoresponder Email, your customers will get email after they fill out the form. Let me show you how to set that up:

    1. IForm Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    2. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Emails.
    3. Now, click on Add Email.
    4. Then, select Autoresponder Email, and customize the options the way you want them, and you’re done.

I want to publish an app on the Google Play Store. I currently have my website called Instander Instagram, but this app is not yet available on the Play Store. I don’t have a background in app development, but when I discovered Jotform’s app builder, I felt glad because it seems like something I can use to create an app without coding.

    My question is:

👉 Can I create an app like this, similar to how my website appears on Google, and then upload it to the Play Store?

Secondly, even if I can’t develop a full app, is it possible to create a dynamic app that allows users to download Instagram posts, pictures, reels, videos, and stories? Because Instander is one of the best modified Instagram apps offering extra features that the official Instagram doesn’t, such as media downloading, privacy modes, and more.

So, can my Instander website be converted into an app using Jotform or any other no-code tool? And is it possible to create a tool or app that allows users to download Instagram videos and other media in an ad-free, simplified experience?

    Hi,

From what I understand, it is not possible to publish or upload Jotform Apps directly to the App Store or Google Play. While you can create mobile apps using Jotform Apps that may resemble your website, these apps cannot be submitted to these marketplaces for download like traditional apps. Instead, you share your app via a link, email invitation, QR code, or social media from the Jotform App Builders’ Publish section.

About your question on making an app that lets users download Instagram posts, videos, reels, and stories — this isn’t something Jotform or most no-code tools can do. Jotform is mainly for building forms and simple apps, not for complex features like downloading media from Instagram. If you want a simple app version of your website, Jotform can help with that.

    Best regards

    Hi John,

Thanks for reaching out. Jotform Apps are progressive web apps (PWAs), which means they’re designed to be shared via link, QR code, or social media, not published directly to the App Store or Google Play. If you’d like to monetize access, you can create a payment form using PayPal or another gateway, and set up an autoresponder email to send the app link only after payment is completed. App stores do take a percentage of subscription revenue, but since Jotform Apps aren’t distributed through those platforms, payments go directly through your chosen integration.
